Summary

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Director, Brand and Communications, this position is responsible for providing support to RioCan’s Brand team through brand, marketing and leasing initiatives and administrative support functions. This is a 12-18 month contract role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative support for the Brand team
  • Assist with coordination and review of leasing signage across national portfolio
  • Assist with Corporate website and intranet reviews and updates
  • Assist with marketing image management, corporate photo shoots and video creation
  • Create purchase orders, invoice administration and budget reporting through JDE including verifying and processing vendor invoices
  • Track and document expenditures and budgets
  • Pull data reports and competitive reviews as required to support leasing efforts, branding and communication
  • Provide regular status communications with appropriate vendors and internal departments regarding the status of all projects and administrative functions.
  • Maintain and track schedules for brand and communications projects
  • Content creation including customized leasing packages, brochures and signage
  • Supplier management
  • Other duties / projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • University or College Diploma in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of previous experience in a marketing role
  • Strong technical acumen in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint as well as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
