Summary

Reporting to the Procurement Lead, this position is responsible for project management, contract and category administration and management, data validation and analysis, continuous improvement initiatives pertaining to process engineering, automation, and operational excellence, constantly interacting with key stakeholders inside and outside of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and execute contract administration
  • Interact and collaborate with internal and external key stakeholders on objectives and projects
  • Evaluate and report on vendor management and operational cost control
  • Schedule Supplier Business Reviews, collect and prepare data & deck
  • Manage monthly reporting and tracking for departmental KPI's
  • Analyze, evaluate and report on supplier responses to RFx
  • Coordinate, evaluate and report on project progress
  • Evaluate industry best practices and its potential application to immediate business needs
  • Oversee process automation initiatives and coordinate implementation
  • Execute market research and create business cases to support departmental and organizational values, goals and objectives
  • Use databases, spreadsheets, and statistical applications to analyze, and present data
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties relating to the systematic process of collecting, categorizing and analyzing supplier spend
  • Other duties / projects as required

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related Business field required
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in procurement role
  • Proven written, verbal communication and people skills
  • Exceptional knowledge of Windows & Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Demonstrated experience translating raw data into analytical models to support decision making
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and Highly Organized
  • Project management and planning skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and internal/external customer service skills
  • Previous experience in JD Edwards an asset
